Turn your subject into slides that feel like you
First get the story right. Then let it fill the template.
This is Part 3 of a short series on moving from AI chat to AI that works for you, using presentation slides as the running example.
Once AI knows how to write and design like you, you can put it to work on a real subject.
But, as you might have understood from the previous steps, we do not cut corners. There are still two phases: your start by preparing the copy before generating the slides, not both at once.
To prepare the copy, you can draft and get AI to critique, or ask it to interview you — one of my favorite methods these days.
Then you have it generate the slide-by-slide story, in plain text.
You will still have to iterate, but this is where the benefits of Part 1 start showing. You do not have to keep re-explaining what makes something feel like you.
When the story is right, it is a home run from there: ask it to take the approved content and fill the template you created in Part 2.
Now it knows what to say, how to say it, and how to present it.
One last thing: do not only save the finished deck.
Save the final copy, the approved template and the feedback you gave along the way.
Maybe you realized you want less text on comparison slides, or you always want a real example before the final takeaway.
Add that to your guidelines, for next time.
