Remember when Wordpress was the default?
How AI tools are solving pain points we accepted for years
Almost half of the websites online today still run on Wordpress.
What started as a simple publishing tool grew into an ecosystem of themes, plugins, builders, and extensions that made it possible to create far more than a basic blog.
But that convenience comes with a cost.
Once a website starts doing more than publishing content, WordPress often turns into a patchwork system:
too many plugins
editor inconsistencies
fragile updates
clunky admin UX
and a maintenance burden that slowly becomes normal.
We accepted those tradeoffs because it was a practical option that didn’t require a five-figure custom build.
Well, we don’t have to anymore.
Tools like Lovable make it easier to build richer, more flexible websites without the usual plugin sprawl, inconsistent UI, and maintenance drag that come with stretching WordPress too far.
If you know someone maintaining this kind of WordPress setup, send them this.
They should probably test Lovable before adding another plugin.
You can even send them my referral link :)
